Doctor Larry Johnson was raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa. After his first year at the University of Northern Iowa, he decided to suspend his college education and joined the US Air Force. He was trained as a Computer Systems Analyst/Operator, and served for twelve years. During that time, he was stationed in North Dakota, Germany and Hawaii. Dr. Johnson finished his BS at the University of Hawaii, then attended Logan University in St. Louis to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

In 1987, he opened his initial clinic in Cape Coral on Santa Barbara Blvd, and is now the Clinic Director and primary chiropractor at the Hancock Healthcare Group, located at 2721 Del Prado Blvd. Dr. Johnson is also a licensed pilot and a certified scuba diver. He resides with his wife Elba Johnson, LPN, and also has four adult children and six grandchildren, all living in Cape Coral.
